Halloween

This year for Halloween my plan was to just stay home and watch horror movies but that didn’t happen. This year for Halloween I went trick-or-treating in all black and wore a bat headband while I carried a PINK bag. I got a lot of candy and saw some people from Heritage, but that’s not where the story ends because when I came home from trick or treating I went to my room and watched horror movies while eating some candy. Then my mother asked for me outside, and kept me out there in the while trick or treaters came by. As a girl in a dark outfit walked by she covered her eyes, it was strange then I realized why, it was my niece. She had went by the same block 3 times, then they were going a forth as they were leaving I came with then but instead of my headband, I traded it in for my black beanie I was wearing during school. We walked for 3 blocks and got a bunch of candy, but as we came home we counted out candy. I ended but with 81 pieces. So that ends my Halloween night.

Personal Narritive

Before you read this just know, this is a story about Clover (my new kitten) he is a newborn child possibly a week old...

I was coming back from school, sweaty and exhausted. Because I had just come back from P.E class at Herrtitage, then my mom sent me a picture. At first I didn’t understand what it was, “What is this?” I texted to her. “Bell, look closer!” She replied, that’s when I saw him, his tiny little body so small, as small as my pencil case. I was feeling exited, “Dad! Look at this adorable bundle of joy!” “Eh, he looks like a ball of fleas.” I frowned at him, but that didn’t last long as the car came to a stop at the front of my house. I dashed out of the dad’s car, as swung open the door thinking the door’s nails would pop right off! I shout “Where’s the kitten?!” My sister just says “under the couch.” Her pink shirt singing from side to side as she looked for the new addition to the family. She finally got him from under the couch and the child was wailing. I just patted him on the head and left to finish my khan homework for math class. Some hours later my mom came home and I greeted her. She just smiled as she held the kitten. “What should we name him?” She asked not taking her eyes off him. “I like the name Prince!” My sister said, “We can’t name him that...” my mom said remembering her old dog, a painful memory. “Let’s just think of this later” my mother said. Soon my uncles come along and start telling my mom not to name him Prince, but then I said, “let’s name him Clover” I say, everyone stops arguing and stares at me. “You know because he’s as lucky as a four leaf clover that we found him,” “I like it” my uncle said. “Yeah that is a darling name” another said “then it’s settled! His name is Prince Clover Hernandez!” I was happy that I was able to help name him that, then my mother gave him to me so I could hold him, I will never forget that look in his eyes as he fell asleep in my arms, “My little baby Clover.”
